Another school year is nearly over. Tomorrow is our last day. I have a feeling that the professors will be aiding with the disaster cleanup in Hogsmeade this summer though. Leave it to the Death Eaters to cause not only mass suffering but also to shorten our holiday.

I'm in horrid shape myself but not nearly as bad as Alastor. Poor bloke's lost not only a leg but is still unconscious. Looks like the lot of us are going to have to haul our own weight for a while. Not that we don't already but Moody might not wake up for a bit. Fuck.

I am taking the liberty of strengthening our wards. You never know when the unexpected might strike. I am still rather unsettled knowing that I duelled one of these crazies only a half mile from you and the kids.

Alastor Moody is still unconscious and has lost one of his legs. Don't expect him to be yelling at you from his journal any time soon. In the meantime, I will be overseeing our efforts. Hopefully this is short-lived.

Teaching is truly a thankless occupation.

People will always attempt to make sport but the real issue is will you allow yourself to fall for it? Random statements that do not threaten anyone do not justify an actual threat of violence.

Another summer is almost upon us. Since more of us will be travelling with our children or younger siblings in this season than any other, all I can suggest is that we be continually mindful of our surroundings.
